T11, T12 Alloy Seamless Steel Pipe
Description
Alloy steel is alloyed with many materials including molybdenum, chromium, nickel, manganese, and a few trace elements. An Alloy Steel Pipe provides moderate corrosion resistance. These pipes are used in applications where the carbon steel pipes cannot suffice. They are designed with excellent mechanical properties. These steel alloy pipes have a tensile strength of minimum 415Mpa and yield strength of minimum 205Mpa. The ASTM A335 Pipe is a high-temperature pipe. These pipes can withstand temperatures up to 375 degrees C. They are widely used in petrochemical, oil and gas, nuclear industries, etc.
Pipes and tubes are produced either seamlessly or through welding procedures. Alloy Steel Seamless Pipe is produced with the help of a single billet and without any welds. They are available in sizes of ½ to 26mm. They are very durable and easy to maintain. The Alloy Steel Welded Pipe is designed by welding pieces of steel together longitudinally. These pipes have an outer thickness of 0.3-50mm. They can be availed in a beveled or a plain end. The Seamless Alloy Steel Pipe is costlier than the welded pipe as it has 20% extra working pressure. These pipes are furthermore resistant to corrosion. The Alloy Steel ERW Pipe is manufactured by passing electricity through steel sheets. These pipes are cold-rolled to give them smooth and desired properties. Our experienced staff makes use of the best raw materials and the latest technology while producing the Alloy Steel Pipe, along with our other products.
The Alloy Pipe Price depends on the wall thickness and the size of the pipe. An alloy pipe is available as less as 130INR per kg to 3,000INR per kg. The Boiler pipe material we used to make boiler tubes and pipes is extremely strong. These pipes suffice in temperatures up to 450 degrees C, and they don’t dissociate easily.

Seamless Alloy Steel Pipe Mechanical Tests
Transverse or Longitudinal Tension Test and Flattening Test, Hardness Test, or Bend Test
For material heat treated in a batch-type furnace, tests shall be made on 5% of the pipe from each treated lot. For small lots, at least one pipe shall be tested.
For material heat treated by the continuous process, tests shall be made on a sufficient number of pipe to constitute 5% of the lot, but in no case less than 2 pipe.
Notes for Hardness Test: | P91 shall not have a hardness not exceeding 250 HB/265 HV [25HRC]. |
Notes for Bend Test: | For pipe whose diameter exceeds NPS 25 and whose diameter to wall thickness ratio is 7.0 or less shall be subjected to the bend test instead of the flattening test. |
Other pipe whose diameter equals or exceeds NPS 10 may be given the bend test in place of the flattening test subject to the approval of the purchaser.
The bend test specimens shall be bent at room temperature through 180 without cracking on the outside of the bent portion.
The inside diameter of the bend shall be 1 inch [25 mm].
Hydrostatic Test | Each length of pipe shall be Hydro tested, at option of manufacture nondestructive electric testing can be used. |
